E Week has been made possible across campuses PAN India, only because of the undying efforts put in by the E-Cells, E-Leaders and the faculty. One such E-Cell is the ‘Igniters’ E-Cell of International School of Informatics and Management (IIIM), Jaipur.
“The students of IIIM are very enthusiastically participating in the activities of E Week. Such activities help students learn concepts which are not textbook knowledge, in a fun and effective manner,” said one of the faculty members at IIIM.
Among the events held on the 15th of February, was a Bazaar set-up by the students of the Institute. Here, the students sold their products to the students and faculty on campus. This event helped them understand the basics of revenue generation, managing finances and the art of profit and loss.
The other event held was a panel discussion which saw some the most successful entrepreneurs of Jaipur, grace to occasion. “The panel was made of local entrepreneurs, so that the students could relate to them, more easily,” said a faculty facilitator at the college.
The panel discussion saw these entrepreneurs share their stories, struggles as entrepreneurs and insider tips on what it takes to become successful entrepreneurs in today’s world. The panelists also encouraged students to make more mistakes on campus so that they can learn from those mistakes and can make better decisions in the future when they are in the actual market.
